XPLANE has recently completed a Distribution and Relationship Marketing (DRM) onboarding communications tool for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).  This project is one of many ongoing strategic communication programs between XPLANE and IHG.  The goal was to create a tool that was memorable, clear and compelling, and would provide all existing and new global DRM employees with a solid understanding of the group, its multiple functional teams and the unique roles of each.  XPLANE created an e-learning module that could easily be updated by the client.  It was important to IHG that the learning tool present the full range of DRM materials and be non-linear.  The final deliverable was viewed as a guided tour through DRM with characteristics similar to that of a website, allowing employees to access it as a future source of information.
