Portland Business Journal names Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies

PORTLAND, Ore. (Aug. 2, 2007) — XPLANE, a global consulting and design firm that drives results through visual communications, has been named the 37th fastest growing privately held company in Oregon by the Portland Business Journal.

To qualify for the poll, companies were required to be Portland-based, independent, privately held and illustrate growth during the past three years with revenues of at least $500,000 in 2004. XPLANE achieved 125.92 percent growth over the last three years, with domestic revenues increasing from over $1 million in 2004 to more than $3 million in 2006.

XPLANE was founded in 1993 by CEO Dave Gray with $10,000 in startup capital. Today the company operates on a global scale, with 51 employees worldwide and serves 35 of the FORTUNE 500, including Microsoft, Intel, Intercontinental Hotels Group and Autodesk.
