In early September, XPLANE conducted an introductory class for the public on Visual Thinking, the methodology of using a visual language as an analysis tool that can be applied in a variety of formats: to analyze situations, help make decisions, validate solutions, come to a consensus, or brainstorm ideas.

The workshop blended presentations and hands-on activities that:

  • Taught the Visual Thinking methodology
  • Enabled participants to understand how to make information and ideas visual
  • Provided hands-on exercises to build skills for applying visual thinking
