Tim May, associate creative director in XPLANE’s Portland office, was recently invited to participate in an amazing show that recreated Kevin Carroll’s Art of Sport + Play art exhibit. A renowned speaker and author, Carroll has spread his passion for sport and the notion that “we all play ball” around the world. This exhibit was a collection of handcrafted balls, created by children around the world and made of found materials from their native lands. In addition to the balls, Carroll asked a chosen few local artists to create a piece of art on a unique canvas to add to the exhibit. Tim was one of a handful of artists asked to participate. The show was on display in Portland at Mercy Corps’ Action Center Gallery from April 4-July 31.
