  • Apply the Agile Change Management Toolkit and the Plan, Do, Sustain model to your current Agile change projects.
  • Create a compelling case for change for your current Agile change project.
  • Utilize all 10 Change Management Agile tools.
  • Identify barriers to change and craft a plan to address them.

Upon completion, you’ll earn 16 units that can be applied toward your ACMP Certified Change Management Practitioner (CCMP) or toward your Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) recertification.

The Change Guides Managing Change in an Agile World is approved as an Association of Change Management Professionals Qualified Education Provider™ (QEP™) and as a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Recertification Provider. Upon Course Completion You’ll receive:

Certification Requirements

  • Your Certification: The Managing Change in an Agile World certificate
  • Comprehensive Digital Toolkit: Excel and Word templates for Plan, Do, Action, Sustain (PDAS) framework, stakeholder mapping, communications, and measurement.
  • Practitioner Handbook: Electronic guide detailing how to adapt change tactics in iterative environments.
  • Ongoing Support: Six months of coaching via bi-monthly calls focused on leveraging the tools.
  • Community Access: Invitation to extend the conversation beyond certification through premier access to the Change Guides Certified Professionals LinkedIn group.

1. Attend and participate: Fully participate in both live day sessions including breakout activities and group discussions.
2. Pass the exam: Take the course exam within 30 days of completing the course. Earn 90%+ on the open book exam. Retakes are allowed if needed. (Our aim is rigor, not gatekeeping.)
3. Submit three tool applications for review: Within 30 days, demonstrate real-world application of the methods.

Alec is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) with over 25 years of experience in business systems and transition management across public and private sectors. As a change specialist, he collaborates with stakeholders from planning to solution delivery, leveraging expertise in business analysis, process improvement, project management, testing, and training. His approach integrates best practices and tailored frameworks to address the complexity and people impacts of change. 

Alec’s career includes 13 years with Sierra Systems and roles in the private sector, providing diverse experience in traditional systems, ERP, and Agile environments. An active instructor, speaker, and coach, Alec’s practical and adaptable skill set enables him to contribute effectively to large-scale initiatives and quickly deliver results.
