“The video was almost an animated extension of the brand image we established with Funkstörung for their record covers. The piece was designed to look very much like an information-based corporate video, while also reflecting a kind of advertising-overkill sensibility. The record covers we designed for Funkstörung also contain masses of information, such as details about what time the tracks were recorded or what temperature it was during the session. I think the fans who like this type of music are very into the computer information technology side of things, and we were just playing around with that, really.”
