Give us a brief overview of your background and experience:
Writer, designer, marketer, and photographer. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2011 with a degree in Print Journalism and a minor in Design. I spent a few years after college with Aramark’s marketing teams at both Loyola University in Chicago and the University of Minnesota designing menus, catering guides, and logos, writing press releases and blogs, and managing the web and social media sites for dining and catering services on campus. On top of that, I’ve had a few adventures doing design work for my favorite small businesses and freelance writing/photography projects for local arts/fashion magazines and blogs.
Five Fun Facts:

I’m 5’11” and I don’t play basketball.
I was in a rap band in high school called Star Wars Trilogy. One time we headlined a show at the town Armory.
I have a thing for fancy vintage furniture and antique picture frames.
My hair has been blonde, brown, black, pink, purple, blue, teal, orange, and red.
Your favorite vacation destination? Why?
I can’t choose just one! Whether it’s punting on the River Cam in England, coasting on a beach cruiser through Topsail Island, or antique shopping in a tiny town in Georgia, I’m always excited to explore any new place.

Do you have any special talents?
I know all the lyrics to “One Week” by Barenaked Ladies.
What is your most embarrassing album you have on your iPod that you listen to?
Oh man. I have some very brutal screamo music from bands that were popular only in Minnesota suburbs circa 2005. I definitely still blast them when I’m feeling angst-y.

In college, I won a trip to New York City to hang out with the cast of the teen soap opera, Degrassi. Two friends and I were put up in a swanky hotel near Times Square, spent the weekend with 16-year-old TV celebrities, and went on a $500 shopping spree at Top Shop with their stylists.
