As designers, we introduce something into the world; therefore we have a social and moral obligation to involve the people who are going to have to put up with it. It’s an act of courtesy; it’s an act of politeness. I sometimes feel, by the way, that some of these remarks make me a sort of professor of the bleeding obvious.”
