XPLANE was pleased to participate in the Oregon WINter Networking Event, hosted by Women in Intel (WIN) and held at the Intel headquarters in Hillsboro, Oregon on December 6, 2012. WIN is an internal group at Intel that is open to all women working for the company and focuses on development and retention of the company’s female employees. The Oregon WINter Networking Event is held with the goal of fostering relationships and creativity.
Stephanie Goia and Patrick Dodson of XPLANE led a session titled, “Visual Thinking and the Female Brain” that focused on expanding design thinking and creativity in the workplace. More than 40 women participated in the hands-on workshop that was devoted largely to interactive thinking following a 10-minute presentation by Stephanie.
“It was a fun, high energy day that we were thrilled to be part of,” said Ms. Goia. “Not only did the women in the room learn new design thinking skills, but they had a great time doing it with friends and colleagues.”
